Account Executive

Position Summary

Join the Sales Team of one of a rapidly-growing managed IT services providers in the South, focused on delivering managed services to small- and medium-sized businesses. THINQ, a leader in professional IT outsourcing services, offer tailored solutions to the B2B market, a segment that has been historically underserved by IT solutions providers. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Aggressively prospect for new opportunities and then qualify and prioritize them to maximize revenue and profit opportunities.
  • Effectively communicate benefits and deliverables of THINQ’s Managed solutions.
  • Coordinate with technical and implementation teams to ensure prospects have a clear understanding of the THINQ solution.
  • Develop and submit proposals and quotes.
  • Effectively build commitment with customers through the sales process to yield high close rates.
  • Close business to achieve quarterly and annual quotas.
  • Provide weekly reports to Sales management on revenue forecast, prospecting activity, pipeline activity, opportunity progress, closed business, and lost business.
  • Use CRM system to keep an accurate log of prospects, communications, opportunities, meetings, activities, and businesses contacted.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years outside sales experience. Experience selling IT services to SMB customers preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated a record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales goals.
  • Proven track record building pipeline which ensured consistent sales performance.
  • Possess a track record of successfully managing a sales process including from start to close.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability and initiative to undertake individual projects as well as work in a team environment.
  • Must be highly organized, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Must thrive in high-speed, start-up environment.
  • Basic understanding of the Internet, networking, PCs, servers, and web infrastructure products.
  • Must be able to manage the complexity of managed IT services proposals, contracts, lease agreements, and SLA’s.
